At Berlin Photographers, our photographers bring different styles, backgrounds, and perspectives to their work. Patrick Wamsganz is one of them. From October 20, 2026, his photography series “Holler” will be on display at the State Parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate in Mainz.
The series focuses on the people of a neighborhood in Kusel, one of Germany’s smallest district towns. Wamsganz photographed children, young people, and other residents of the “Holler,” often developing locations and compositions together with the people in front of his camera.
“Holler” is also a social documentary about a neighborhood where opportunities in life are not always a given. Worn facades, a run-down soccer field, and a weathered ping-pong table hint at some of the challenges. But the photographs are not about reducing people to their circumstances. They show individuals, personalities, and everyday life – photographed with respect and at eye level.
Patrick Wamsganz works as a photographer in Berlin and across Germany. His work has a strong focus on portrait and documentary photography, and he has photographed numerous German and international celebrities from the worlds of film, theater, and music.
For us, a strong photographic eye and professional craft go hand in hand – whether we are shooting a personal portrait series, a corporate production, or a major event. The same approach shapes our work for international companies, agencies, and organizations: capturing people, interactions, and key moments in a natural and authentic way.
Berlin Photographers provides professional corporate photography, event and conference photography, team photography, and business portraits in Berlin and across Germany.
